I have a shell of an idea.

Plastic straws and sea turtles have a pretty terrible history together. And while the world has tried paper straws, reusable straws, and those weird pasta straws, I thought there might be a more delicious solution by now.

Introducing Shrimp Straws. A biodegradable straw concept made from shrimp shells, leafy greens, and dried fruit. All things a sea turtle might happily snack on. The idea? A straw sturdy enough to survive your iced tea, but designed to become a tasty treat for a turtle if it ever finds its way into the ocean.
